Swaziland: swine flu threats schools' final exams

Ministry of Health officials and school principals yesterday raised serious concerns at the threat posed by the A H1N1 influenza to pupils as they sit for their final examinations.

Making matters worse was that both parties failed to come up with clear answers on what should be done to an infected pupil who cannot afford to miss an exam paper.

The Health ministry officials could only advise the close to 200 principals to adhere to the precautions that they (principals) were taught about yesterday during an open seminar for Hhohho teachers on the A H1N1 influenza (swine flu) held at St Mark’s High school.
